In The Magnet of Marjon, teslox are massive, steady creatures of the Barrens — broad-backed, patient, and strong enough to cross the broken lands near the Fault Lines. Their bodies carry faint magnetic veining, and their instincts are shaped by the unstable world around them.
Creatures of the Fault Lines
Teslox live near the edge of the Fault Lines, where the ground is unstable and the air carries the low magnetic pressure of the fractured world. To most travelers, the land near the seams feels dangerous, unpredictable, and almost alive. To the teslox, it is simply home.
They are not fast in the way a horse is fast. Their strength is steadiness. A teslox can carry riders across hard Barrens ground, through dust, heat, and tremors, moving with the calm certainty of a creature built to survive where ordinary animals would turn back.
Their magnetic veining gives them an instinctive connection to the land. They sense shifts in the ground before people do, and they respond to fear, hesitation, and intent with surprising clarity.

Teslox are built for distance, weight, and unstable terrain. They move with patience rather than panic.
